So earlier my mom and brother caught me off guard practically dissing my baking skills. How dare they. I'm an awesome baker ;) . Just because a few days ago my best friend and I found a recipe for fudge brownies online and they came out rock-hard. Lol. You could practically taste the promise beneath all the crunching. It was funny though, because we kept joking about how you could knock someone out by throwing one of our brownies at them. It was especially funny when we talked about throwing them at Mrs. Mellow (haha, just kidding). But anyways, maybe I've just been off a little bit. I don't know why, but what my mom and brother said to me kinda annoyed me. Just a little ;). I told my brother if he doesn't like it, he can do his own baking. Ha. :)

life is like fried chicken
Well I finished my poem from today so I decided to put it up. Here it is:
Life is spicy
my life is like fried chicken
I am tasting it
Yes I am biting
delicious bits and pieces of dreams
They melt in my mouth
How the spice tingles my senses
in the way
Of desired fantasies
Till I accomplish
goals and aspirations
Of my life
With one lick
I savor the emotions
Fried chicken is delicious

cupcakes, cupcakes
Soo I have this book full of cupcake recipes, but I haven't actually used it. How can this be?? Well I've actually made cupcakes from it before with my best friend, but it was the library version, not my version. This one's all mine. lol The book's called Cupcakes! From the Cake Mix Doctor. Anyway, it has all kinds of delicious recipes, plus muffins and celebration cupcakes. Every recipe calls for a cake mix in the ingredients list, and that's for a shortcut. My favorites that I've made so far though would have to be the Cinnamon Toast and the Peanut Butter Surprise cupcakes. The Cinnamon toast is a yellow, cinnamon-y cupcake with a yummy cinnamon cream cheese frosting, and the cupcake is light and fluffy as a cloud. The Peanut Butter Surprises are peanut butter cakes with decadent chocolate buttercream, chopped Reese's Peanut Butter Cups on top, and a Hershey's Kiss hidden inside (that's my favorite cupcake so far). There's just so many cupcakes left unbaked, though. I gotta try them all. I love cupcakes.
