Today was one of those days where I repeatedly did the dumbest things.
I'm not really sure what was up with me. My off-day began this morning, when I went out to my mom's van to begin the process of removing the ice from the windshield so I could drive to school. I turned the car on, but didn't have the engine running, then got out to run and grab the water hose. Immediately after I closed the car door, I realized it was locked, with the keys in the ignition. Are you kidding me? Who does that? I barely got my license and I already made the stupidest mistake. My first thought was Ugh, now I have to tell Mom and she's gonna tell me how stupid I am. I sucked it up and told her. Her response: *irritated* "Ohmigod, how'd you do that?" I really donn't even know how it happened, because I didn't purposely lock it.
From there it my blondeness continued it's streak.
Luckily my older brother had copy of the key, and I unlocked the door. I used the hose to get the ice off the windshield, but when I sprayed I didn't realize I was also spraying myself. Fortunately it dried quickly. I also later learned that I never turned off the hose. Apparently I don't know which direction to turn the knob-thingy. :P
Then, once I finally got everything sorted out and ready to go, I got stopped by the tiniest little train, like the one with only one box car or something. Idk. Anyway, it's like really? Really. Since I'm not really used to the fog (I'll blame that) I got confused and missed this one turn that's right before the end of the street, and so I took a minute longer to get to the parking lot. Needless to say, I made my little brother and me late. I'm making it a plan to get up earlier.
Oh yeah, and the last thing, which was also embarrassing, is after school. I came home, realizing that I had to parallel park, squeezing in between two cars with the van. Well, it's not easy for me, let's just say that. I need more practice. Let's just say I had issues today, leaving me begging my mom to help me park. What's even sadder is I needed my brother to help me yesterday, and I was all ready today, only to fail miserably. I'll do better next time. ;)
Man, I feel dumb.
